Okpol

Okpol is one of the biggest roof windows producers in Europe. Working as a contractor my assignment was to develop an online store for customers and a B2B solution for contractors.

Customers can not only post an inquiry for standard windows selected from the store but also order a custom-sized and parametrized windows using a multi-step window configuration.

The configurator was the biggest challenge of the project, due to multiple product variations and limitations. It allows creating a non-standard window by adjusting window type, size, material, colour, accessories and other details. The solution was built in JavaScript.

The project also has an administrator panel which allows managing products, orders and configurations. To share data with existing in the company ERP system, a custom connector was built, which allowed sharing orders and products data between the platform and client system build in Microsoft .Net and MsAccess.

The project supports multiple languages and currencies. Created using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Bootstrap 3.
